Spring is in bloom in February during the indoor spring flower show at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. A flower show like no other, enter the Oswald Visitor Center to an experience of color, scent and texture that will delight the senses. A profusion of scented plants and essences of nature are designed as nine vignettes that will take visitors on a fragrant journey of discovery throughout the buildings.

A Modern Classification of Fragrance – Check out the nine vignettes and savor the scents defined by Plants and Personality: Balsamic, Spicy, Heavy, Sweet, Fruited, Violet, Rose, Unique, and Honeyed.

Discover Your Fragrance – Find out what fragrances and plants reflect your personality and plant preferences. Jot down your favorites to create a unique essence and nature-inspired fragrance.

Enjoy 40 pieces by Minnesota's best-known sculptor, including six models for his most popular large-scale sculptures, among the vignettes of the flower show.

Conservatory Glass House

Glass House

The custom, English-style conservatory was designed to celebrate flowers in bloom all year round. The 18' x 18' structure features tempered glass, an insulated roof, mahogany, transom windows with brass hardware and two sets of French doors. Walk in and bask in the beautiful setting of fragrant and colorful blooms.

The glass house was specially created for the "Fragrances of Spring" by Conservatory Craftsmen, designer/builder of greenhouses and conservatories.
