Pea Pods for Preschoolers "Spring Sun, Spring Showers" Kickoff

Explore nature with your preschooler. Together you will discover how longer days and warm spring rains are bringing back the green waiting everywhere to unfold. Tree buds are bursting, bulbs are sprouting, warblers are on their way. Enjoy this opportunity to experience a free, introductory session of PeaPods for Preschoolers with your young child. The "Spring Sun, Spring Showers" theme will include:

  • greenhouse exploration
  • adventures in the Green Play Yard and our own PeaPods Garden
Come play, learn and get ready to spring into summer!

"Spring Sun, Spring Showers" is intended as a free introductory program for first time participants to try the PeaPods for Preschoolers program before purchasing the full Summer 2019 series. The program is designed for 3-5 year olds together with an adult.

Kindle a sense of wonder in the natural world with your preschool child as you reawaken it in yourself! Pea Pods for Preschoolers provides the opportunity for you and your special little one to be enchanted by the plant world. Each of ten weekly themes helps spark your child's appreciation for nature's beauty through planting, art, sensory and science, discovery zones, action and music, story time, Green Play Yard adventures, greenhouse exploration and snack. Come play and learn about nature!

Pea Pods for Preschoolers registration is by seasonal series of 10 weekly classes for 3-5 year olds together with an adult. For late registrants, remaining class sessions may be available for purchase at a prorated price by calling 612-301-1210.

Pea Pod Pals Program: On vacation, sick, or just having a bad day? You have the option to bring a friend with you to the next Pea Pod class or send a friend on the day that you will be absent. Please contact the Learning Center office at 612-301-1210 to register your Pea Pod Pal and their adult.

Waitlist

The best chance of being enrolled in a sold out class is to add your name to the waitlist. Click the orange "waitlist" button and complete the steps, or call 612-301-1210. There is no obligation to register if a spot opens. If the waitlist shows enough demand, additional class sessions may be added.
