Make a day of it at the Arboretum! grab something good to eat from the food trucks, soak up nature by taking a walk around the grounds and stay for a special musical performance by Prairie Brass Band in the Great Hall from 1:30-3 p.m. (seating is limited).

Get Arboretum Director of Operations Alan Branhagen's new book, "Native Plants of the Midwest--A Comprehensive Guide to the Best 500 Species for the Garden". The author will be on hand doing book signings and sharing a wealth of information about selecting the best plants for Midwest gardens.
Book Signing with Belinda Jensen

KARE 11 TV's Chief Meteorologist Belinda Jensen will be on hand to sign copies of her new book, "A Snowstorm Shows Off: Blizzards", part of her Bel the Weather Girl book series. Her "Stormy" adorable plush stuffed animals (inspired by Belinda's own dog) will also be available for purchase and makes a perfect present paired with a copy of the book.
