Passionate about nature photography and the Arboretum
The Minnesota Landscape Arboretum Photographers' Society is a group of photographers who want to express and share their passion of nature photography with the Arboretum and each other.
Purpose - To enhance and promote the Arboretum and each other through photography, and to strive for excellence by continuously learning and improving our photography skills.
Meetings - We meet on the third Thursday of the month at the Eden Prairie Library or at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum.

- Volunteer time and skills to fulfill photography requests from the Arboretum
- Contribute photographs for display and potential use by the Arboretum
- Participate in photography exhibits and workshops at the Arboretum and other venues
- Attend monthly meetings and volunteer time with one of the society's committees
- Lead or participate in photo shoot
$30 per year
$5 per year (optional) for personal web page on the Arboretum Photographers website to showcase your personal photography
Requirements for Exhibiting Eligibility for Members
Volunteer at least 10 hours at the Arboretum per year, including fulfilling at least 1 Arboretum Photography Request.
Attend at least 6 of the last 12 monthly meetings. Please note there are new Arboretum tripod limitations to ensure the gardens, natural areas and indoor attractions are welcoming, accessible places for everyone. Click here for more information. Thank you for your cooperation.

The Larger Perspective, 6th Annual Juried Show & Sale

See this juried show and sale of 40 stunning images featuring landscape shots of Arboretum scenery by APS photographers. Judges of the juried exhibit were award-winning photographers Paul Stafford, Explore Minnesota; Dave Johnson, National Camera Exchange & Video; Ron Elmquist, Fox 9; and Unsie Zuege, Chanhassen Villager. Categories included Best of Show, Gold, Silver, Bronze, Honorable Mention and Runners-up. See the winners. Attend a free informal photo clinic with an APS photographer Saturdays in January and February.
