 Summer Children's Garden - planting

Summer Children's Garden (weekly)
For ages 5 - 13; 10 weekly sessions

The Children's Garden is THE place where kids can grow to learn and learn to grow all summer long. Week by week we will explore the subtle and sudden changes taking place as our gardens come to life. We will celebrate the bees and butterflies, investigate the soil, bask in the sun, and play with the water. We will dig for earthworms, search for sow bugs, tend our plants, taste the weeds, and marvel at the watermelon smelling stink bugs that show up to our garden party. Who knows what else awaits on our summer long seed to snack adventure? We can't wait to get growing with you to find out! Pairs of gardeners will share the bounty and responsibility of a kid-sized plot of vegetables and flowers throughout the summer. Sign up with a friend or make a new friend.
